South Asian Journal of PSYCHIATRY

Instructions to authors

The South Asian Journal of Psychiatry is a peer reviewed journal especially dedicated to the publication of original scientific papers,country profiles and points of view dealing with thead vancement of mental healthcare in the South Asian Region. It is published bi-annually.

Manuscripts for publication should be submitted electronically to the Editor (shehan@mfac.kln.ac.lk). The maximum length for papers is 1500 words. Case reports and correspondence should not be longer than 500 words. The Harvard system of referencing should be used. Contributions are accepted for publication on the condition that their substance has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

Mission of the South Asian Journal of Psychiatry

To provide a platform for researchers in mental health in South Asia to publish their work and share experience which is often unique to the region, thus contributing to the advancement of academic and evidence based psychiatry.
